Careers at Basetwo Media: Account Manager

In order to grow our sales team, we are in need of an Account Manager to work closely with our Sales Manager and production team to help discover and develop new business opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity to get in on the 'ground floor' of a well-established, rapidly growing small business.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, warm, and authentic, as well as articulate and attentive to detail. We are not looking for hard sellers or fast talkers, but rather someone who enjoys building relationships and providing solutions in a highly consultative sales process.

Working from our Vancouver office, responsibilities will include:

Develop and prospect leads using a variety of online and offline sources.
Generate leads and set up phone and in-person meetings with qualified prospects.
Work with our production team to prepare project proposals and to close new deals.
Follow-up and manage existing accounts, including house-accounts and other in-bound leads.
Actively participate in sales meetings and training.
Achieve individual, quarterly and annual sales milestones.

Qualifications:

Sales experience is required, preferably B2B and in a technology or media related industry.
Experience in video production, advertising, or communications a huge asset.
Effective organizational and follow-up skills.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Ability to think strategically and creatively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation:

Salary (based on experience) plus commission and bonuses, with plenty of room for growth for the right candidate. We will be offering an initial 3-month 'trial' contract to see if it is a good fit before offering a permanent position with benefits on the team.
