Fall has been extremely busy here at Basetwo Media, hopefully a sign of an economic recovery. We've had several projects resume which had previously been put on hold, along with many new projects and clients who have seen their marketing budgets restored.

We've got some highlights from our online news blog, including the launch of a new product which we are quite excited about.

Footage Filmed for Kin's Farm Market

Basetwo Media recently worked with Kin's Farm Market in the filming of B-roll for use in several upcoming projects.

The company's motto, "We Sell Freshness", reflects their strong commitment to providing only the highest quality produce. They have successfully grown from a single table at the Granville Island market, to having locations around the Lower Mainland and Ontario.

View image on FacebookWe filmed at a variety of locations, including a farm in Ladner, Kin’s Farm Market locations in both Ladner & Richmond, and at their head office and warehouse in Richmond.

Interviews were also filmed with the company's President Kin Wah Leung, and Vice Presidents Queenie Leung, and Kin Hun Leung.

The goal was to show the short journey that produce may take from the farm to the consumer's table, often in less than one day.

An order may be placed late in the afternoon, the produce picked fresh early the following morning, then shipped to the warehouse before immediately being redirected to the store. A consumer can purchase and have locally-grown produce on their table by noon that same day.

Kin's Farm Market was nominated and successfully won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for BC. The footage was intended to be used in a biographical video played at the event, and eventually to be repurposed into a promotional video for on-going use.

Congratulations to everyone at Kin's Farm Market on winning the EOY!
