Videos Produced for Powering Now to Promote Hydrogen Fuel Cells
Basetwo Media completed several videos earlier this year for Powering Now, a campaign by the BC Hydrogen Highway project and the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association.
Working with Rivers Edge Consulting, the videos were developed to help showcase BC’s myriad assortment of unique, homegrown hydrogen and fuel cell applications.
Interviews were filmed with Gordon Campbell and Stockwell Day, the head of BC Transit Manuel Achadinha, and President and CEO of Ballard Power John Sheridan among others.
B-Roll of the vehicles in action was filmed around Vancouver and on the Sea to Sky Highway. Several 3D animations were also produced to demonstrate how the technology works.
Rivers Edge's Debby Harris had this to say: "Basetwo Media took the time to understand the hydrogen and fuel cell industry, educating themselves in advance of the project's initiation... Produced videos were awesome."
One of the videos focussing on Hydrogen's use in buses was featured in an exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Watch a behind-the-scenes video of the display.
