Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays from all of us at Basetwo Media! Please note that our offices will be closed for the holidays beginning Dec. 20th until January 5th, 2009.

Congrats to Tamara Munzner of UBC's Computer Science Department who was the winner of our iPod giveaway. The contest may be closed but we'd still love to hear from you in our Client Response Survey.

Below are some recent highlights from our news blog. We'll see you in the New Year!

Case Study: 1-800-Got-Junk?

1-800-Got-Junk? was looking for a "well-rounded approach" to training their staff, which would include a predominent video component.

Since the production of that first training video, we have been working with 1-800-Got-Junk? for over 4 years in the production of training videos for their franchisees.

Case Study: KrytonThe Company's former COO Cameron Herold and former Director of Business Development Alex Read told us about their experience in working with Basetwo Media.

Case Study: Kryton International

Kryton was having problems conveying the steps of application for their highly specialized concrete waterproofing systems.

Basetwo Media produced a series of videos, incorporating 3D animations and voice-over to not only promote the company’s products, but to detail its proper application and use.

Case Study: KrytonWe spoke to Kryton’s Yvonne Lee about the project. Click here to read more and to watch the video.

  Join our Kiva.org Lending Team!

Kiva.orgLooking for a gift idea for the holidays? Forget the gift certificates for the mall, and visit Kiva.org.

Kiva is a non-profit that allows you to lend money to a specific low-income entrepreneur in the developing world. You choose who to lend to - whether a baker in Afghanistan, a goat herder in Uganda, a farmer in Peru, a restaurateur in Cambodia, or a tailor in Iraq - and as they repay their loan, you get your money back. Its a powerful and sustainable way to empower someone right now to lift themselves out of poverty.

Best of all, you can purchase gift certificates for as little as $25 which can be printed off or sent electronically. The recipient can then login and redeem the certificate, choosing who to lend it to, and hopefully spreading the word even further to their friends and family.

Be sure to join our Lending Team so that we can work together to alleviate poverty!
