WelcomeBC Educational Videos
The above excerpt is from a series of videos produced with Open School BC and the Ministry of Education for the WelcomeBC website and mobile application as part of the BC Newcomer's Guide, the Government of BC's official site for immigration and welcoming communities.
The videos are intended to help new immigrants in accessing social services, such as obtaining a social insurance number, a banking account, driver's license, and calling 911.
Our team was responsible for casting and hiring of professional, ethnically diverse talent, and in the scouting and coordnation of various locations including Government buildings, medical facilities, banks, transit and residences. We completed over a dozen days of filming on-location and in-studio to produce 9 videos, each with subtitles in 10 different languages.
