Promotional Video for Peak Centre Vancouver
The Peak Centre For Human Performance in Vancouver needed a video to promote their new Combine Testing Program for Hockey Players.
Peak Centre Vancouver is a physiological lab that can quantify an athlete's current fitness levels in order to provide individual training programs based on specific training 'zones', typically geared towards endurance athlete.
The results of direct maximal testing for hockey players allow for the comparison of players across the Nation. All data is benchmarked against the NHL draft averages and all players are ranked within their age group across North America.
The goal of the video was to highlight the benefits of the program, such as the ability for coaches and parents to measure their return on investment in training, while featuring footage of the tests in a way that might interest the players themselves.
Filming took place in a single day on-location, including an interview and b-roll. The final video can also be seen on their YouTube channel.
