Promotional Video for Portec Rail
Portec Rail was in need of a promotional video for their Total Friction Management program, a lubrication and friction management solution for rail freight and transit operators.
Basetwo Media produced a multilingual DVD for use at trade shows and on the web, with shorter versions separately targeting both the freight industry in North America, and passenger vehicles in Europe.
Filming took place around the Fraser Valley, including at CP rail locations in Hope, on the Canada Line, and at the company's head office in North Vancouver. Supplemental stock footage was acquired and some 3D animation produced, along with a professional voice-over and motion graphics.
Versions were also created with an original voice-over intended for UK audiences, as well as a DVD with subtitles in German, Portuguese and Mandarin.
